Joann McKinney - Vice Chair 

Joann is a seasoned executive leader and strategist with a vision to drive organizational growth and foster community engagement. As President/CEO of the Horizon Convention Center, she pioneered a hotel training center project that employs and trains individuals with developmental disabilities, revitalizing downtown and boosting economic impact. She secured over $1.2 million in pandemic funding and established an in-house catering division generating nearly $1 million in revenue.

Joann's community service includes roles such as Board Member and past President of the Nonprofit Support Network, Founding President and Board Member of the Refugee Alliance of Delaware County, and Board Member and incoming President of the Muncie Rotary Club. Her past service includes being an elected official for the Daleville Town Council and Board President of the Shafer Leadership Academy.
