The mission of the Delaware County Democratic Party is to encourage, equip, and nurture individuals who seek to advance the principles of the Democratic Party so that all people of Muncie and Delaware County can attain their best future. 

Because we advocate for Muncie and Delaware County’s best future we care deeply about the advancement of our local economy so that people are gainfully employed; which means that the emerging economy is not only recognized but prepared for, for fiscally responsible government that takes head-on our growing and disconcerting high rate of poverty and homelessness, for community and economic development policies and practices that express our value of people and neighborhoods over solely the interests of developers, for continued and bolstered primary and secondary educational advancement in student preparedness, for the advocacy and support of our health services organizations, and for fair and equitable election practices.
