Meet The Central Committee

On behalf of the leadership team of the Delaware County Democratic Central Committee and our precinct committee chairpersons, as well as our many committed, passionate and talented volunteers, I want to extend an invitation to you to join our team.

 

Most people believe that the purpose of a political party is to elect people to public office. That’s a fair assumption but getting Democrats elected to office is a means to the ultimate purpose of securing a better future for people. In our case, it’s the people of Muncie and Delaware County.

 

People matter and because of that the Delaware County Democratic Party is about people. Because we’re about people, we’re in the people business. And, because we’re in the people business we take our mission seriously. 

 

We understand the value of the volunteer and the candidate and those who we’ve had success in helping to elect to office. We place equal value to them because they each bring a superpower to the fight. Time, treasure and talent are not underappreciated but celebrated at this table.
